Off to the Moon
for Choir and Symphony Orchestra Off to the Moon was composed for the BBC Proms, and first performed in the Royal Albert Hall, London at the CBeebies Prom. It is a short and simple song for young children about travelling to the moon, that also demonstrates the different sections of the orchestra. The audience can join in singing and with various actions. Each verse is scored for a particular section of the orchestra, which has a brief introduction. |
